Summer in Wadi Rum
During the day in summer months from May to August, expect a dry, hot temperatures 30°C to 45°C (86°F to 113°F) so make sure to stay hydrated by constantly drinking water during your tour and appropriately protected from the sun by wearing a hat and using a sunscreen with an SPF level higher than 30. Also, we highly recommend in summer that you start your tour around 7 am to benefit from the fresh early morning before it gets hot in the noontime.
Winter in Wadi Rum
Due to the dry barren desert climate, it can get very cold during winter nights between November and February, so be sure you wear closed shoes and warm enough clothes for 5°C to 10°C (41°F to 50°F) during the day and around 0°C (32°F) in the evening. Best Months to Visit Wadi Rum
If you want to enjoy sunny, beautiful days, we recommend you visit Wadi Rum during the spring or fall season which are the months of March, April, September, and October. Other than the cool temperature and blue skies during these months, usually, there are slightly fewer tourists in Wadi Rum which means enjoying more the tranquility of desert while visiting the popular attractions.
